Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Technical Artist to join our team. You’ll bridge the gap between art and technology, ensuring our game assets are optimized and of the highest quality. You’ll work with cutting-edge tools like Blender, Unreal Engine 5, Unity3D, and Houdini.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve art pipelines and tools.

• Create and maintain game assets from start to finish.

• Solve technical issues in the 3D asset pipeline.

• Collaborate with the Art Director and team leads.

• Stay updated on new techniques and technologies.

• Communicate requirements to in-house and outsourced teams.

• Identify and resolve problems proactively.

• Share solutions and best practices across teams.

• Support artists and engineers to ensure optimal performance and quality.

Requirements

• Proficient in Blender; experience with 3ds Max or Maya is a plus.

• Strong experience with Unreal Engine (UE4/UE5) and Unity3D.

• Familiarity with Unreal Engine materials, Blueprints, and Niagara VFX.

• Ability to create various game assets (environments, props, characters).

• 2+ years as a Technical Artist with knowledge of engines and art pipelines.

• Understanding of game development processes and techniques.

• Knowledge of rendering budgets and real-time engine constraints.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Experience with source control management.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Positive attitude and ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Houdini (proceduralism and automation).

• Scripting skills (Blueprinting, Python, C#, etc.).

• Experience in VFX, lighting, or shader development.

• Skills in ZBrush or Mudbox.

• Proficiency in PBR texturing.

• Knowledge of C++, HLSL, or Python programming.

• Understanding of physically based rendering.
